Culture · Leadership · Community

The objective of Homenetmen’s scouting program is to help develop a sound character, mind, and body, through scouting activities, leadership skills, and knowledge of Armenian culture and heritage. Activities include weekly scout meetings, field trips, and outdoor outings such as hikes and overnight camps.

Our Program

Our Homentmen Ani Chapter scouting program is full of exciting new experiences for our youth!

Scouts meet every Sunday, from 1-3 p.m. in Cupertino. In addition to weekly meetings, we have fun filled outings like field trips and the epitome of every scout’s life: CAMP!

Scouts are divided into age groups of 5-11 and 12 and up. The program is led by our capable scout leaders and supported by experienced adult volunteers.

Through activities such as arts and crafts, games, hands-on lessons, and songs/skits, scouts learn scouting essentials, practice teamwork, and develop a deep pride in their Armenian heritage and language. Along the way, they earn badges and awards, which keeps them motivated, builds confidence and teaches them responsibility and leadership.
